Whether you want to sprinkle in a few subtle references or go full fandom, we’re all in. From crafting vows inspired by your favorite movies or shows, to building entire ceremonies around pop culture icons, time periods, or personal passions—we say YES to it all, and we can’t wait to create something unforgettable with you.

Star Wars? Game of Thrones? Disney? Gatsby? Princess Bride? Harry Potter? Victorian? Baroque? Hockey? Baseball?

Yes, yes, yes—and As You Wish.

Below are just a few of the Theme and Pop Culture-inspired ceremonies we’ve had the absolute joy of creating with our amazing couples.

  • A beautiful civil ceremony with a touch of Tyrion! A nice approach for couples that want a touch of pop-culture while still being accessible to all.

  • A Halloween ceremony written by our own Rev. Aviva Sala. You'll find musings about the time of year, lots of Game of Thrones referencesm and a little Star Wars thrown in too, in addition to a remembrance, handfasting, some really lovely vows. There's room for a personal section here too should you wish to add some bits of your own story.

  • A short yet meaningful nautical inspired wedding, including an hourglass sand ceremony, a nautical version of a traditional Irish blessings, modern vows and a 'beach and sea worthy' pronouncement.

  • "Mawage is wot bwings us together today!" This adventurous couple gave Pastor April free reign to craft a full-blown homage to The Princess Bride. What can I say? You just have to read it to believe it!

  • With sand and water symbolism throughout and readings from St. Francis and Anne Morrow, this is a lovely ceremony with room for personal vows and a unity sand element.

  • Married at the Merchant’s House Museum in a ceremony with an 1880’s flair to it… Yet as timeless as love itself.

  • This elegant ceremony concludes with a handfasting and honors the Lord and Lady of the manor with pomp and class; drawing down the God and Goddess and celebrating the joys and challenges to come.

  • As Yogi Berra once said, "“Yogi Berra once said; “Love is the most important thing in the world. But baseball is pretty good too.” A baseball loving couple knocked it out of the park with this one!

  • They say that a picture paints a thousand words. "Wow! is all we can say. Here's a ceremony for anyone thinking of literally 'jumping' into marriage.

  • A vineyard destination wedding. Short and sweet and ripe with symbolism, a reading from Thomas Merton, and vows sealed with the sharing of wine from a chalice.
